Great hotel in a prime location! I had a room with a beautiful view of the cathedral and the gardens. The room was spacious and well equipped, the bathroom modern. The cleanliness and condition of the room and bathroom were very good. Price / performance are quite reasonable.

The hotel itself is beautiful - the rooms are wonderful too, and you feel like you've been transported back in time, but still modern. - However: There is a star deduction for that early in the morning at breakfast, the hotel staircase and the entrance area of ​​the restaurant smell strongly of cigarettes, as guests or friends of the house hang in the door with the glow sticks. so that as a non-smoker you are forced to walk through the cloud of fog, and then you smell accordingly. This doesn't seem to be a problem for the owners, but I think it's a no-go because there are also guests with children. There is a 2 star deduction for the evening service in the restaurant. not only that the corona rules were only adhered to very half-heartedly (a small piece of plastic just in front of the mouth does not work!) but the lady who served us was very lustful and annoyed by everything. I don't know if we caught you on a bad day or if you don't feel like doing your job, but the ambience of the hotel doesn't match with unfriendly service staff, which makes you a little disappointed with the service. Furthermore, we missed a few hiker gadgets in the room, such as a shoe rack so that the room is not so dirty, a kettle, a hairdryer, and a map of the resturantes, or the history of the building. The big TV, on the other hand, is exaggerated, a small one is enough. Otherwise the hotel is fine for one night if you can do without service. A heartfelt thank you

Only the atmosphere in the hall is a bit annoying, as the volume is felt to be a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise to be recommended without restrictions!

Nice Italian ambience, a large selection of food and drinks at almost normal prices. Outside under parasols and inside, quick operation. A friendly smile would definitely look good on the waiters. Therefore only 4 out of 5 stars.

We were stranded in front of the restaurant today! Forget your wallet and all credit cards in our accommodation. They helped us out in the restaurant with 50 €. Thank you very much for the help, not everyone does that! We'll definitely come to you next time to stay the night.

We had a great weekend at the Hotel Klosterhof. The owners are sooo super friendly and helpful, just unique. And the associated restaurant makes the best pizza, soooo yummy. Highly Recommended. We will be back definitely. 😊🥰

We were with a child in the restaurant. There we ordered a salad and pasta dishes. These were fine in terms of quality. The service was also very nice. Only the wait was a bit long. We waited 40 minutes for our food. Overall, it was nice and the atmosphere was cozy.

We had such a great time. We ordered a schnitzel with Jäger Sauce and fries and also deer goulash with Spätzle. Both very delicious. As dessert we had creme brulee, also very tasty. The staff were also very kind and the price was ok for what we ordered. Recommended! :)

Sometimes great italian food like soups, pizza, antipasti, risotto, meat. Nice park view, in part great italian speaking multilingual staff. the monolingual primary outdoor guy is sad, unfriendly, impatient, inconsiderate, sometimes outright arrogant and must be looking for a new job. Occasional you will be served maché food and grocery breaded meat. Not many alternatives in town ofc.

I love our lunch here when I visited San Blasien

Very unfriendly waiters. We get a place for a open door. There was a lot of cold wind. We ask them friendly a couple of times to close the door. But the same waiter opens the door constantly and let them open. After we close the door by us self the waiters are loud laughing and looking to us. And also when the waiter was walking by us the open de door again. The meal was very good but the waiters are very unpleasant and totally not costumer friendly.
